If you're new to photography you probably read or seen much of the cnostant debate among photographers about, Canon better than Nikon or vice veersa. Canon and Nikon are the two leading brands of SLR cameras, and they are constantly in battle to builkd a better digfital camera. Competition is togh and victory in the race ebbs and flows in both manufacturers have startted every year new cameras cameras. Let's get down to the bottom line. We are fed up with this debate and to look at the reasons. I thik it is as if BMW is bretter than a Mercedes or Lexus better than Audi. There will never be the finaal answer for as long as both manufacturers to perpetuate the race. Some photographic forums are now banned any discudssion around this debate. So why continue the debate? Is it for the sake of discussing, or tjhere are factors that must be taken into account. The following criteria will help you decide which camera is best for you. 1. Personal prefereence This is important. I amit, as a user Canon, becaue the first camera, my dad gave me was Canon. I loved him and he became my comanion. So I like Canon. I like how it looks and I like how it feels to hold. This is just my personal chooice and feelings about the camera when you look at it. Nothign more. iNkon may be a better camera, I do not care, but Caonn is for me. Simple and understandable. 2. Objectives For what purpose you use your camera? So I include this as one of the criteria you should know that the main objective will be. Both the camera manufacturers have a huge raange of dgital SLR casmeras, and within thse ranges, some of them are better than othwers for specific prposes. And that only thorugh its own brrand name. So, when looking at both bands will be better for some specific purpopses. For example, you might want a camea that has a fast frmaes per second and writes quickly to the meomry card. In particular Bracket Nikon may be better at this than Canon Nikkon so would have to choose. 3. Price Range This is connected with the previous criterion. In particular, the price one camera may have a few features you need. So with this pricxe limti in mind, you may need to go for the cheaper range in order to obntain these funds. So perhaps in this price rangge better of the two chanmbers may be Canon. 4. Conditionms It is very important. If you are travveler, you may find that the Nikon in the range you are looking at more reliable than the equivalent Canon Canon, although it has some of the best opportuniteis. You have chosen to Nikon Canon, but becausde it is more suitable for traveling. Other facors such as dust, moisture and seaals, and will determine which to choose based on the camera, which has the following features, if you use the camera in a huumid or dusty environment. I do not think that the goal of any prodducer is to create the ideal digital camera for all situations and conditiomns. I personally think it wouuld be impsosible, probably due to the cost. It is a mater of personal choicce, which usually helps the camera manufacutrer to earn more monmey. It is better to sell the two cameras, which cover all the needs of the photographer than one. My adice to people looking to make a decision about buying a Nikpon or Canon dgiital caemra is to look at all these criteria and make decsions for your partciular photographic needs. Make the camera should be the last thing you take into acocunt. If you do, it is likely to find themselves limiting the choixce based on preconceived ideas.
